The heart of every Wampy is our heat pad. They are made in Germany, and meet all medical product standards.
We developed the shape of the heat pad so that it adapts to the shape of the female body and can emit heat over a large area to relieve abdominal pain.
Material: sodium acetate, PVC film, metal mainspring
If the heat pad is dirty, wipe it off with a damp cloth. Please do not use disinfectants, abrasives, glass, or all-purpose cleaners.
The Wampy instant warmer reaches a temperature of 50 °C - 55 °C. There should be no burns in the panty pocket provided for this purpose at these temperatures, but please always pay attention to your feelings. If the heat is uncomfortable, remove the Wampy immediately.
Do not use the Wampy if you have acute inflammation, dermatitis, deep vein thrombosis, peripheral arterial disease, heart disease, impaired skin sensitivity (diabetes, children under three years old, heat/cold sensitive individuals), or open wounds.
The Wampy is not suitable for the microwave!

What are Wampy heat pads?
A Wampy is an instant warmer that warms up to about 50-55° when activated and stays warm for up to one hour. Whether at home or on the go - you can activate the Wampy at any time by simply twisting it and inserting it into the pocket of your panties. The pockets are sewn into the underpants from the inside and are invisible from the outside. The heat reduces pain and has an antispasmodic effect. You can reuse the heat pads by simply placing them in boiling water for 10-15 minutes.

Who is behind Wampys?
Leonie and Phil founded Wampys together while at university. Leonie suffers from severe menstrual pain, which is how the idea came about. No. The instant warmer is not visible because it's not very thick. It could be a bit bulky only with very tight pants like leggings for yoga.

The heat pads keep you warm for one hour. Exactly how long depends on several factors. The outside temperature or what kind of pants you wear can change the duration. That's why we recommend always having 2-3 Wampys with you to achieve longer-lasting pain relief and cramp relief.

Wampy instant warmers contain sodium acetate, which is non-toxic. If acetate gets on your skin or eyes, simply wash it with plenty of water. There are no known skin or eye irritations.

The heating pads are specifically developed for use with our panties. These not only ensure a comfortable fit but also ensure that the Wampy does not slip and does not rest on bare skin. Since the instant warmers can initially reach up to 55°C, you should never put them on bare skin. That could lead to irritation or, in the worst case, burns. Therefore we do not recommend an application without our panties.

No panic! The liquid in your Wampy is non-toxic. Simply wash the areas that have come into contact with the sodium acetate with plenty of water. It's best to email us, and we'll check if you're eligible for a free exchange depending on how it broke.

Verwendungszweck
Der Sofortwärmer ist eine wiederverwendbare Kompresse, die wohltuende und schmerzlindernde Wärme spendet. Sie kann für die medikamentenfreie Warm-Therapie eingesetzt werden.
Einsatzbereiche
Minderung von Menstruationsschmerzen, Muskelverspannungen, wie Rückenschmerzen, rheumatoide Arthritis
Behandlung von chronischen Muskel- oder Knochenschmerzen,

Gegenanzeigen
Verwenden Sie die Kompresse nicht, wenn folgende Bedingungen vorliegen:
Akute Entzündungen, Dermatitis, tiefe Venenthrombose, periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit, Herzerkrankungen, Beeinträchtigung des Hautgefühls (Diabetes, Kinder unter 3 Jahren, hitze-/kälteunempfindlichen Personen), offene Wunden.
Holen Sie im Zweifelsfall medizinischen Rat ein.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Nicht in der Mikrowelle oder im Wasserkocher aufkochen!
Seien Sie vorsichtig, wenn Sie die Kompresse im heißen Wasser aufkochen. ACHTUNG VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR!
Die Kompresse NIE direkt auf die Haut legen, immer in die dafür vorgesehene Tasche auf der Vorderseite des WAMPY-Panty einsetzen oder ein dünnes Haushaltstuch verwenden.
Gehen Sie mit Vorsicht vor, um Schädigungen der Haut (z.B. Verbrennungen) zu vermeiden. Kinder oder Personen mit kognitiven Einschränkungen sollten die Kompresse nur unter Aufsicht verwenden.
Nehmen Sie die Kompresse sofort ab, sollte Ihnen die Wärme unangenehm sein.
Die Kompresse ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie Kinder von der Kompresse fern.
Undichte, beschädigte oder entleerte Kompressen dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden. Verbrennungsgefahr! Diese können im Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
AKTIVIERUNG
Aktivator mehrmals knicken, die Kompresse erwärmt sich in weniger als 30 Sekunden auf ca. 50 °C bis 55°C und kühlt - je nach Außentemperatur - innerhalb einer Stunde wieder ab. Durch Kneten wird die Wärme in der Kompresse besser verteilt und hält länger an.
Anwendung
Überzeugen Sie sich vor Anwendung, dass die Kompresse nicht beschädigt ist. Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Kompresse in die dafür vorgesehene Tasche auf der Vorderseite des WAMPY-Panty einsetzen. Durch die beiden Öffnungen auf den Seiten kann die Kompresse mit den Händen positioniert werden, bis sie angenehm sitzt. Entfernen Sie die Kompresse, sobald Sie diese als unangenehm empfinden.
Vor erneuter Anwendung
Die Kompresse vollständig auskühlen lassen. Die Kompresse für ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten in einen Topf mit kochend heißem Wasser legen, bis sich alle Kristalle vollkommen verflüssigt haben. Die Kompresse vorsichtig herausnehmen, ACHTUNG VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR! Achten Sie auf vollkommenes Schmelzen aller Salzkristalle, sonst kristallisiert der gesamte Inhalt der Kompresse nach dem Erkalten wieder aus. Kompresse abkühlen lassen, erst dann den Aktivator erneut knicken.
Hinweise zur Reinigung, Haltbarkeit und Lagerung
Bei Verschmutzungen die Kompresse mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen. Bitte keine Scheuermittel Glas- Allzweckreiniger oder Desinfektionsmittel verwenden.
Bei normaler Verwendung ist die Kompresse 2 Jahre haltbar. Wir empfehlen eine Lagerung kühl und trocken (max. 25°C). Kompresse vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schützen.
Angaben zum Acetat und zur Entsorgung
Das in der Kompresse enthaltene Acetat ist nicht giftig. Sollte Acetat auf die Haut oder ins Auge gelangen, Stelle einfach mit viel Wasser auswaschen. Reizungen an Haut und Auge sind nicht bekannt.
Die Kompresse und die Hülle im Hausmüll (Restmüll) und die Gebrauchsanweisung im Altpapier entsorgen.
